Over the past 12 months, we have seen a steady increase in the number of Dry Ice shipments that we have been requested to pack. The majority of these shipments are transported by air freight, and often contain perishable items, such as food, medical supplies or non-hazardous chemicals. They are required to be kept cold, and are shipped with dry ice as a refrigerant.

The Dry Ice that we use is frozen Carbon Dioxide pellets, and we pack them inside insulated containers with the goods. This usually keeps the product at a controlled temperature for 3-4 days while in transit.

All our employees at Dangerous Goods Packing Ltd are trained to IATA regulations and health and safety procedures to handle and pack Dry Ice shipments. If you have any requirements or queries about shipping temperature controlled products, please get in touch with us and we'll be more than happy to quote you.
